Now I Understand What Season of Life I'm In

April 16, 2026

I'm walking along a beach in Bali right now and had to think about this... I really like this idea of seeing life in different seasons.

We go through seasons of suffering, seasons of hard work, seasons of leisure and travel, seasons of finding ourselves.

Different seasons, different things we do, different learning happening, different outcomes and purposes.

And I just now understand what season of life I'm in.

See, the thing is: if you try to do something that doesn't fit your season of life, you won't move forward.

Let me explain. I'm traveling right now and my trip is over in two weeks. I'm not in a season of traveling — doing this any longer wouldn't make me happy. I would feel stuck, with no progress. Because I'm in a season of growth. I want to build my life.

Build my business. Build my network. Build my body. Connect deeper with my friends and family.

Every second I spend outside of my routine and not in Berlin, I'm not making progress through this season.

Don't get me wrong — I enjoy my travels a lot right now, and it's part of growing and getting out of my comfort zone.

But for the majority of my time, I should focus on the things that matter most to the season I'm in right now.

I really like this idea because it's so actionable:

Understand what season you're in. Understand what success looks like in this particular season. Define the necessary inputs to get the desired output.
