March 2026 Goals

Goals for March

Some Notes

30 days no energy drinks (coffee allowed for now)

Developed a crazy caffeine addiction over the last month and sometimes drink 1–1.5l of energy drink lol. This can't be good, so I'm switching back to coffee, maximum two a day. And because of my diet I can't drink cappuccino, meaning I naturally will drink less coffee because I don't like black coffee.

30 days evening + morning routine

The morning routine starts the night before, so I'm including it here.

Really lost my morning routine at the moment and float the first one to one-and-a-half hours of the day. I don't like this, so I will change it. Will save me a ton of time and I will be more productive.

February Goals Review

Alright, here we go again — crazy how fast time flies. Another month is over. Let's start with a review of the last month.

February Habit Tracker

February habit tracker

Goal 1: 80kg, 16 Gym Sessions, 8 other Sport Sessions

My current weight is 81.3kg so I missed my goal to hit 80kg by 1.3kg. I still lost -2.9kg in February, so I consider this a success. I think I was a bit too aggressive with my goal setting here and losing 3kg per month sounds more realistic.

I'm also a bit misaligned on my diet at the moment — I did a cheat day and some days cheated and then just ate less to still hit my kcal, which is stressful and fucks up my micronutrition. I'll work on this.

February weight graph — 81.3kg, -2.9kg

Out of 28 days I hit my kcal target 21 times perfect (interesting to observe — once I don't hit it, the frequency of not hitting it increases → the never-skip-twice rule).

Okay, training-wise:

21/28 days I did sports. 16 of these were weight-lifting sessions, the other 3 were biking cardio sessions, 1 I went bouldering and 1 played paintball with friends (yes this counts haha).

Going well overall — would like to diversify the non-gym days a bit more and start playing padel tennis again.

10k steps everyday

I did 10k steps 22/28 days in February. Went well overall.

My routines adjusted to hit this goal — for example walking to the library instead of taking a scooter, and in general just walking if I don't have time pressure, walking in between breaks, etc.

Definitely an uplift in mood and also burns a lot of kcal — one of the reasons I think the 7 days I didn't hit my kcal were forgiven :D Will continue and keep tracking it.

My lowest step count: 2904; my highest: 17059; my average 9532 …damn :D

Hand in Bachelor Thesis

We did it. Feels good.

Visit 2 meetups

Went to 1 meetup which was great (Clay Club Berlin). Really good and interesting people there. Learned a lot.

I wanted to go to an AI Hackathon but wasn't in the mood that day so I skipped :/

Have really cool ones lined up for next week so I'll definitely go there.

Send 5 coffee chat DMs every Saturday

I haven't done this at all. Damn.

It's just getting out of your comfort zone, and I was procrastinating a lot. I really want and should do this, so I set this as a goal for March again.

Still, I had like 4 or 5 coffee chats, some with people I met at the Clay event and then others just catching up with people I already know. So I consider this a win.

Add $6.5k revenue

I'm not doing a lot of biz dev at the moment because I still want to take April off and travel after I finish uni, so I didn't onboard any new clients. I had four sales-related calls. Some looked really promising, and maybe I do an exception for some of them.

Other cool stuff: I relaunched my business under a new brand called coldtorch.io, built the entire website and the full marketing funnel is almost set up. So once I go back working hard, this will crush.
