July Goals

I went for a walk the other day and realized that in the last 2 years I've consistently gone to the gym but didn't make any progress the entire time. I'm hovering between 80–85kg… and my strength also stayed the same the whole time: bench 80kg, deadlift 100kg, squat 90kg… I just didn't improve.

I was like, wtf is this shit.

I mean, this would be acceptable if I trained other sports besides the gym — which I did in phases, like when I focused deeply on BJJ for a long time or did a padel tennis side quest. But right now my sole focus is the gym. I go 4 times per week and bike 2 times a week.

So I think this is mainly a mindset and focus issue. That's why I'll make it my mission to improve drastically in the gym now, since it's the only sport I'm really doing right now.

Therefore my July goals are focused on exactly that. Not multiple priorities — just one single priority to get this kicked off and hit my goals.

Action steps forward

Biggest issue is diet → To solve this, I plan out every day what I eat the next day, and I order PrepMyMeal so I don't accidentally order bullshit.

Gym intensity → I skip exercises or sets sometimes. This is a non-negotiable: I'll go all in every session.
