I did the Warriors Diet for 30 days

I did the Warriors Diet for 30 days!!
Why?!
Cause it sounds fucking Badass…. jk the reason is I like trying out different health stuff and seeing if it makes my life better.
So below is a quick report of me doing this diet for 30 days so you don't have to :D and maybe you find it's actually not too bad.
So WHAT the fuck is the Warriors Diet even? Basically a cooler name for 20/4 fasting.
Meaning you have a 20 hour window where you fast and a 4 hour window where you eat.
Why would someone torture themself to do this?
It's healthy… believe it or not.
There are a bunch of scientifically proven benefits. Half of them I don't even know what they mean, but it sounds good to me.
How I am doing it
My 4h eating window is from 4pm to 8pm.
I eat a small 400-500 kcal meal at 4pm before I go to the gym.
I eat a big 1200-1300 kcal meal after the gym.
I'm dieting right now. My kcal target per day is 1740.
Why I'm doing it
- Easier to hit my kcal goal. Less time to eat a day means less risk to fuck up my diet.
- Forgives more errors in the diet.
- Not so much time spent thinking about food and prepping food.
- I like cooking but not 3 times a day. This fixes it.
- People claim increased focus. Let's find out.
Okey okey you still reading. Thank you friend. Below is a log book of how it went:
Day 1-3
Before this diet I was already doing 16/8 fasting.
So until 12 everything was feeling good, but after that for the next 4h I could only think about food. Nothing else.
Day 2 I went completely crazy.
Day 3-7
Got really used to the rhythm.
Day 7-30
… stopped documenting this but did it for like 30 days. I found it amazing, like really great to diet and eat amazing stuff, but it was not really compatible with a normal lifestyle. Like eating out with friends in the evening — which I love doing — made this extremely complicated.
